One of the main summer sports events, The Cisk Export Beach Soccer Tour, will be held again this summer with the usual sizzling-hot atmosphere and this year the organisers are planning a more spectacular event!! The Cisk Export Beach Soccer Tour has become one of the main summer sports events.

The event is going to be held during all the weekends of July. In fact the tournament will be spread to four weekends, with an additional weekend, for the first time ever, in Gozo’s beautiful Ramla Bay.

Touring around Malta’s popular beaches, The Cisk Export Beach Soccer Tour is now established as Malta’s hottest sports event. With over 600 participants in the last three editions, the tour has become the ultimate summer challenge.

This year, 33 teams will join the “battle of the beach”. Divided into nine groups, the teams will play a league format for the 1st phase, that will be scheduled during the first three weekends and the knock-out phase will happen at Golden Bay.

The Cisk Export Beach Soccer Tour has become that added element to your summer day. Sand, sun, sea, music, beer, bikinis and soccer — your perfect beach day out!!

The winners of this year’s Cisk Export Beach Soccer Tour will win a trip to watch the Beach Soccer Championships in Holland.

Birkirkara F.C. who emerged as one of the top teams in the elite of

Maltese football, has totalled eight cups, five of which were won in the

last two seasons. These past two seasons saw Cisk Export as the official

beer of Birkirkara F.C.

– it seems to have brought them luck! In season 2001-2002, Birkirkara F.C. managed to notch its first F.A. Trophy against Sliema Wanderers. A few days later in the Super Cup final, Birkirkara beat Hibernians 1-0 to win all the major honours that the Maltese championship can offer. The string of good luck continued during the season 2002-2003, where Birkirkara F.C. reached another first, by notching three cups in a row, the Super Five Cup, and for the second consecutive time the F.A. Trophy and Super Cup.
